BeAScout.org: This is a great tool for all units to use to get their unit information to all those who visit BeAScout.org and might be looking for a new unit to join.
It’s a recruiting campaign that allows parents to find units in their neighborhoods using a Google map tool. Unit leaders can manage their Google pin information and also manage their leads from BeAScout.
To update a unit's information, the leader from that unit should go to myscouting.org, log into his/her account and follow the link "BeAScout" under "unit tools" to update the unit pin information.

—Robert J. Mazzuca, Chief Scout Executive, Boy Scouts of America (Retired)
Four Percent is one of the most complete histories of the Boy Scouts of America ever written and the first to focus on the remarkable story of Eagle Scouts. Award-winning author Michael S. Malone, himself an Eagle, brings the eye of a veteran journalist to a story that for too long has been wrapped in myth and prejudice and uncovers one of the most important, but least celebrated, movements in modern American history.
Purchase the book on Amazon, or in your local Scout Shop.
"The Eagle's service project is the single greatest youth-service initiative in history, and one that has touched every
